      What You’ll Be Doing

      As a member of Credit Processing Services, the Senior Credit Risk Analyst is accountable for providing specialized service for credit-related products to an industry specific portfolio of Corporate and/or Commercial Bank. The successful candidate is responsible for managing all aspects of administration and monitoring of established credit facilities and maintain independent responsibility for the input, monitoring and escalation of risk elements on complex credit portfolios with minimal supervision.

      • Detail Oriented - Demonstrates accurate and efficient processing of all incoming work by verifying, processing and balancing as required utilizing various systems and equipment within the department including Processes items ensuring proper procedures and guidelines are followed and managing fluctuating volumes.
      • Results Oriented - Maintains adherence to all risk and governance standards by completing all required documentation thoroughly and ensuring that all processes and procedures are followed
      • Team Player - Demonstrates CIBC’s values of trust, teamwork and accountability
      • Accountability- Responsible for input, monitoring and escalation of risk with minimal supervision - Research and investigate daily service issues
      • Problem Solving- Devise alternative resolution strategies while acting as primary contact for clients with escalations Accuracy/Attention to Detail- Conduct detailed analysis of financial reporting
