  Your Mission is: The Analytics Insights team is seeking a talented Senior Data Analyst to work directly with and support partners such as Finance, Product, Player Insights, Sales, and Supply Chain, while also collaborating with studios for Call of Duty (COD). Your role will be to drive data-driven decision-making through ad-hoc analysis, reporting, and dashboarding. You will work closely with cross-functional partners, business stakeholders, Activision leadership, and analytics peers to derive meaningful insights and provide strategic recommendations. Additionally, you will partner with Finance, Product, and Marketing teams to analyze game features, report revenue, and identify new ways to boost player engagement and monetization.

  Responsibilities

  1. Support partners such as Finance, Product, Player Insights, Sales, and Supply Chain in cross-functional projects to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimized opportunities.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to investigate topics related to fraud & disruptive behavior, franchise strategic opportunities, and finance and COD mainline priorities.
  3. Support and drive analytics initiatives within a cross-functional team to inform design and implementation decisions, through dashboards and presentation deliverables.
  4. Present analytical findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex data into actionable insights.

  What You Bring To The Team

  • Measurable Impact: Demonstrating consistent influence of analytics on revenue, engagement, and player experience.
  • Collaboration: Leveraging relationship-building skills to foster trust and teamwork with internal and studio partners.
  • Effective Communication: Managing stakeholder expectations with clear, concise updates and insights.
  • Insight Translation: Delivering precise, actionable insights that drive decisions and improvements.
  • Domain Knowledge: Understanding the player mindset to derive and communicate insights that shape design and engagement strategies.

  Player Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., data analytics, data science, statistics, economics, or mathematics).
  • 8+ years of experience with SQL and R/Python for data analysis and visualization.
  • A passion for storytelling through data, turning complex datasets into compelling narratives.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships and expectations.
  • Experience in gameplay analysis or knowledge of user engagement and monetization strategies in gaming, entertainment, e-commerce, or mobile apps is a plus.

The U.S. base salary range for this role is $92,920 - $171,814 annually, with potential incentives. Compensation is negotiable based on experience and location.
