What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, implement, and manage Microsoft SQL Server environments, ensuring optimal performance and security
- Develop and maintain complex ETL processes using SSIS for data integration and migration
- Design and maintain cloud-native database solutions in AWS, including Amazon RDS and Aurora
- Tune and optimize SQL queries for performance across large-scale datasets
- Monitor and troubleshoot database-related issues to ensure high system performance

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of hands-on experience as a DBA specializing in Microsoft SQL Server in large-scale enterprise environments
- Deep expertise in Azure DevOps for database deployment automation
- Advanced knowledge of AWS cloud-native database services such as RDS and DynamoDB
- Strong scripting skills using PowerShell and/or T-SQL

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or similar certifications
- AWS Certified Database – Specialty or Solutions Architect certifications
- Experience in data governance, auditing, and compliance within regulated environments
- Familiarity with NoSQL technologies and hybrid data architectures
- Previous Federal Consulting Experience
