- Design and Implementation: Plan, design, and implement VMware NSX solutions to meet the needs of the organization's data center and network virtualization.
- Configuration Management: Configure and manage NSX components, including logical switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for NSX-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance of the network infrastructure.
- Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of the NSX environment, ensuring efficient resource utilization and minimal downtime. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the NSX environment, including configurations, topologies, and procedures. Generate reports on system performance and health.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, including server, storage, and application teams, to ensure seamless integration and operation of the NSX infrastructure.
- Upgrades and Patching: Plan and execute upgrades and patches to the NSX environment to keep it up-to-date and secure.
- Experience: Several years of experience in network administration, with a focus on VMware NSX and data center virtualization technologies.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) in Network Virtualization.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in VMware NSX, vSphere, and related virtualization technologies. Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders effectively.
- Education: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is often preferred.
- Familiarity with US STRATCOM Network & IT Operations
- Familiarity with US Air Force Network & IT Operations

Job Description:
This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located at customer's site. No relocation is offered.
