- Monitor, interpret and analyze high volume of new federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidance.
- Maintain and update comprehensive databases including metadata and tags per law.
- Perform processes to normalize, mass edit or deduplicate data for internal reference purposes as well as product delivery and enhancements.
- Perform quality control to ensure accurate publication of information.
- Extract, review, manipulate, clean, and transform data for internal and external purposes.
- Create data visualizations and workflows to help drive insights and tell the story of data or processes to different audiences (e.g., sales, content, technology).
- Identify increased efficiencies in workflows/processes.
- Recommend AI content use cases.
- Identify potential data and content issues through testing, customer feedback and other channels and work to solve such issues.
- Collaborate with product, data science and tech squads to deliver new products and product enhancements, ensuring product goals are met and to identify and resolve gaps of knowledge.
- Participate in presentations to internal stakeholders.
- 1-3 years of relevant practice and work experience with the ability to bring deep understanding of user needs and workflows.
- Experience with employment law and/or a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school, preferred.
- Familiarity with online legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis), specifically with tracking regulatory and legislative matters.
- Thorough understanding of the lawmaking process at the federal, state, and local levels.
- Experience with data modelling, database design or taxonomy management is a plus.
- Process-oriented, including the ability to understand and apply rules, rule logic and workflows.
- Experience managing complicated projects and tight deadlines.
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy, including the ability to closely read statutes, case law, etc., and the ability to translate legal definitions into data points.
- Works well independently and has strong analytical skills with strong ability to meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to articulate regulatory requirements across teams to capture information and achieve results.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to constantly collaborate with and support cross-functional team members in a matrix workplace to advance projects.
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience with content management systems a plus.
- Desire to enhance technology knowledge and skills, including learning data analysis tools, AI, machine learning, Adobe Analytics, Squidex, PowerBI and/or Python.
- Have working knowledge or understanding of agile and lean methodologies.

The Legal Data Analyst plays an integral role in the US content team that creates content for products that support the workflows of human resources and people professionals and business leaders. This role requires collaboration across teams to align and drive product development and bring value to customers. The Legal Data Analyst ensures the accuracy of content and data and provides analytical support and actionable insight to internal and external users.
