      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide strategic advice and technical guidance to client program and project staff on data governance challenges
      - Develop and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures to enhance compliance and data management
      - Design and maintain data quality improvement processes to ensure data accuracy and completeness
      - Evaluate existing data models and structures to identify and recommend areas for improvement
      - Collaborate with stakeholders to establish a network of data stewards and facilitate data governance training

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
      - 10+ years of experience in data governance and data management
      - Proven expertise in data governance, management, quality, and stewardship for government agencies
      - Experience in facilitating change and customer engagement in complex enterprises
      - Familiarity with data governance tools such as Collibra, Alation, Atacama, and OvalEdge

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in managing data governance programs for federal agencies
      - Strong understanding of government regulations and compliance standards related to data management
      - Demonstrated ability to execute data-driven strategies and risk mitigation approaches
      - Background in training and developing data stewardship networks
      - Proven track record of successful implementation of metadata management strategies
