      Job Description Summary:

      The Senior Data Officer will work with the Leadership team and Senior Managers in GTS departments to put in place effective and efficient data management and data governance processes. They will also support the implementation of global frameworks and policies as part of the wider Group Data Office.

      What You Will Do:

      • Work with the Chief Data Officer (CDO) and key stakeholders to drive the definition and implementation of the GTS data management strategy, roadmap and policies supporting each of the domains

      • Implement and run an effective and efficient data governance model working with data owners, stewards, and users in GTS to create clarity about their data responsibilities

      • Define and implement data controls in collaboration with GTS’s data owners

      • Work with IT to help define GTS’s data architecture and solutions for data management

      • Work with other data related functions, privacy, security, and IT to help drive the strategic use, control, and management of data, aligning with them on standards, tooling, and approaches

      • Implement standards working as part of the Group Data Office

      • Support the implementation of group wide policies, standards, and controls for data management

      • Work with the CDO and key stakeholders to drive the definition and implementation of the GTS data management strategy, roadmap and policies supporting each of the domains

      What You Will Need:

      Experience

      • A degree in Information Management, Data & Analytics, Organization Studies, Computer Science, Econometrics, Business Economics / Engineering or related study, in lieu of a degree, relevant applied experience will be welcomed

      • Experience in data management or data analysis in a complex organization in terms of entities and IT

      • Knowledge of and practical and implementation experience with data management industry standards such as DAMA DMBOK

      • Customer oriented and good communication skills

      • You are a team player

      • You look opportunities to make improvements and are constantly improvement-oriented

      Preferred

      • Relevant data management certifications (e.g. Certified Data Management Professional) or willing to obtain them in the short term

      • An understanding of the financial services marketplace is preferred

      Working Conditions

      • We are currently operating a hybrid working model. The role holder will be expected to attend the office for key meetings and training, and on a week-to-week basis will have the benefit of working flexibly.

      Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to applicable pay transparency and compensation posting laws. It is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations.

      £54,800 - £ 82,200

      Expected Starting Salary Range: £54,800 - £68,500

      *This position is also eligible for an incentive bonus
