- To support the Data Quality Team in ensuring data held across the Trust contains accurate and reliable information.
- To contribute to the Data Quality Team in providing an efficient and high-quality service for ensuring accurate source date which constitutes a major element of the information Governance agenda.
- To provide support to the Data Improvement Manager, in raising awareness across the Trust for the need for timely and accurate quality data.
- Support the Trust in meeting the data requirements of clinicians, hospital managers, commissioners, and Trust Board.
- Monitor and promote data quality throughout the Trust, taking steps to improve areas of concern as highlighted by Local, Regional, and National monitoring.
- Develop detailed and precise Data Quality guidance documents to the specified standard for trust-wide dissemination. Including departmental policy and procedures, strategy, and standard operating procedures.
- To work as part of the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme to ensure that patient related date held within the Trust is accurate and complete to enable reliable and robust reporting to support clinical andbusiness processes, statutory information, and income generation.
- To adapt and improve local systems and procedures around data collection/input, audit, and analysis so that they continue to meet the needs of the teams.

- Minimum of 2 years office experience
- Awareness of current NHS issues
- Experience of working with a wide range of staff at all levels
- Proven success at delivering against objectives and deadlines
- Experience of PAS/EPR (Lorenzo/Cerner)
- Experience/ /involvement in Data Quality activities (e.g. validation or audit) NHS Experience
- Understanding of the 18-week referral to treatment target
- Educated to GCSE level within Maths and English
- Evidence of continuing personal development
- Willingness to undergo further training
- A Level Maths
- Ability to communicate sensitive and complex information
- Able to work in a demanding environment and achieve tight deadlines
- Motivate and persuade others from outside of your team
- Use own initiative
- Able to analyse data
- Quickly and expertly identify and investigate inconsistencies in data
- Ability to organise work involving input from other people
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Awareness of NHS organisations
- Understanding of the NHS performance targets
