What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle deployment and oversee maintenance of new databases, schemas, and database objects
- Define application database standards and create application data models
- Manage database performance in collaboration with infrastructure and application teams
- Act as a liaison among project management, technical teams, and IT leadership to ensure best practices
- Mentor developers, assist with SQL tuning, and resolve technical challenges

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of experience in database administration
- Advanced knowledge of database technologies, particularly Oracle
- Proficiency with SQL and knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL
- Solid experience with Linux and shell scripting

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Oracle database certification
- Programming experience with Python and Java
- Familiarity with Erwin and Exadata
- Experience in the logistics industry
- Understanding of Google Cloud Platform and PostgreSQL
