      Job Description

      SUMMARY:

      The Senior Deductions Analyst role is primarily responsible for resolving disputes and deductions for complex/critical customer accounts in the US and Canada. The role requires a high degree of independent problem solving and analytical analysis. The Sr. Deductions Analyst will act as a team lead to train and mentor other members of the Deductions Team.
      ***This position may sit at the following Bosch sites: Fairport, NY, Oakbrook, IL, Mt. Prospect, IL, or Londonderry, NH

      Remote/Hybrid work environment (Once per week in the office)

      PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

      Major Duties of Deductions Analyst:
      • Research and analyze customer deductions and disputed invoices
      • Partner with internal and external customers to determine validity of claims
      • Submit claims and backup for credit through appropriate approval channels
      • Dispute and provide supporting documentation of invalid deductions to customers and collections team
      • Coordinate and follow up with internal teams to minimize deduction resolution time
      • Reconcile open deductions and related credits on customer accounts
      • Provide regular reporting on aged and material deductions
      • Identify trends and escalate recurring issues
      • Suggest process improvement opportunities
      • Work across business units to develop efficiencies and best practices
      • Special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed
      • Act as business partner to business units
      • Support internal team members with escalation topics

      Qualifications

      Basic Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
      • 3+ years of experience with accounting and/or AR processes
      • 3+ years of SAP experience
      • 3+ years of Excel experience (Vlookups, Pivot tables, Etc.)

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a broad range of people including staff, senior management, and customers - prior team lead experience a plus
      • Exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance
      • Be able to effectively cope with change and ambiguity
      • Can solve problems with minimal direction, apply guidelines, and interpret information as needed. Due to the confidentiality of the work at the functions of this position, a good business acumen and confidentiality is highly expected
      • In-depth understanding of entire MS Office suite and data analytic tools like Power BI
      • A curious mind that can stay up to date with advancements in digital trends and automation applications in new digital era
      • Professional level verbal and written communications skills
      • Strong organizational & time management skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
      • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment
