  THE ROLE: Sr. Delivery Architect - Engineer (Post Sales)

  Job Summary:

  As a Senior Delivery Architect - Engineer (Post Sales) , your primary responsibilities include performing project-based engineering, design, configuration, installation and troubleshooting of complex data/security networks in medium to very large environments.

  You'll also be providing network security consulting services, including assessment, design and implementation of data and secure networking environments, assisting clients through planning, design, and implementation of secure data communications networks, and developing comprehensive graphical and text-based design documentation and effectively manage the implementation process from design to customer acceptance.

  Travel Requirements:

  In this role, you may travel outside the local area up to 30% of the time. Travel to client sites in local area is expected as needed. This position is based out of the Reston, VA location.

  Job Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibilities include performing project-based engineering, design, installation and troubleshooting of data/security networks
  • Working with junior members of the engineering team to successfully implement secure network solutions
  • Routing, switching, and security configuration and deployment in an enterprise environment
  • Provide network engineering consulting services, including: assessment, design and implementation of secure networking environments
  • Assist clients through planning, design and implementation of secure data communications networks
  • Develop comprehensive graphical and text-based design documentation and effectively manage the implementation process from design to customer acceptance

  Required Skills:

  • Expert-level knowledge and experience with design, implementation and support of the following:
  • Network Access Control, including Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) implementation design, configuration, and deployment in a lab environment
  • IDS/IPS solutions (Cisco is a must)
  • Firewalls/VPNs (Cisco and Palo Alto are a must, Aruba, Fortinet, Juniper, etc. are optional)
  • Complex routing and switching solutions (Cisco is a must, Arista is a plus)
  • Basic automation skills using one of the following platforms: Python, Ansible or Terraform
  • Python
  • Ansible
  • TerraForm
  • Associate skill level in design and deployment of one or more of the following cloud based security solutions;
  • Cisco Cloud Security
  • Umbrella, Cloudlock, email security,
  • Stealthwatch, Firepower NGFW
  • Palo Alto Prisma Cloud
  • CCNP- REQUIRED at a minimum
  • CCIE Security or R&S - Preferred

  Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
  • 7-10 years of networking experience, including configuring, analyzing & troubleshooting complex networks
