At Wipro, we’re searching for a Senior Device Test Engineer to join the Wipro Engineering 5G practice unit. Your working area & responsibilities You will be as comfortable white-boarding complex test architectures with a room full of engineers as are briefing an executive audience You will help our service provider customers transform their technology and business systems to meet the needs of the 5G and IOT era NB-IoT, LTE-M and 5G SA test cases execution in Lab KPI measurements for Latency, Throughput and Power Consumption Detailed Log analysis for Failed scenarios Defect Management and follow up with the suppliers Test results evaluation and test status sharing with all stake holders Good understanding of 3GPP specifications and testing concepts. Planning and test case writing for new 3GPP releases and change. Your skillset Experience in 3GPP 5G-NR Radio Conformance, Protocol Conformance and Radio Resource Management testing of devices. Good understanding of 5G SA, NSA, and VoNR/IMS technologies Thorough knowledge of 5G Non-Access Stratum (NAS) and Access Stratum (AS) protocols including RRC, PDCP, RLC, MAC, PHY layers, and related 3GPP standards (Rel 15 and above) Understanding on NB-IoT/IoT ( 3GPP Release 13 and onwards) AT commands/Linux commands, Linux-based os, and debugging skills Must have hands-on on Modem logging (QXDM/QCAT/QPST) or proprietary tools for varied chipsets 5G-NR Conformance Test Systems including Radio Conformance Tester, Protocol Conformance Tester, Radio Resource Management Tester from either Rohde & Schwarz/Anritsu/Keysight, Spirent/Azimuth RF Channel English fluency is mandatory. German is desirable.
