  Overview

  As a Cloud Engineer on our Chief Information Officer (CIO) Technologies team, you will partner with our global engineering team and business stakeholders to deliver value by building high-quality software products via agile development lifecycle. You contribute to the wider objectives to ensure flow, consistent standards and approach with common shared framework.   What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with the product owners, architects, the scrum master, the project managers as well as the development team

  • Utilize solution-oriented approaches

  • Exhibit good understanding and application of agile methodologies

  • Work with precision under tight deadlines

  • Provide strong communication in a cross-functional, multi-language, and multi-culture team environment spread across several locations

  Skills You’ll Need

  • Extensive experience with Kubernetes, Istio (or other container management tools such as Consul and Nomad) within a production environment, and deep understanding of Cloud

  • Knowledge and experience in enterprise production workloads related to one of the major

  • Experience with languages such as Terraform, Helm, Shell, Python, .net core, and Java

  • Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (or development) (CI/CD) pipelines and experience with one of the common tools like Jenkins, Teamcity, GitHub, and GitHub runners

  • Experience with task automations and enterprise production workloads

  Expectations

  It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

  The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
