Collaborate on the development of the build, release, and deploy toolchain for DevOps, paving the way for seamless and efficient software delivery processes.
Lead the initiative to set up, manage, and meticulously maintain parity across development, staging, and production application environments in cutting-edge cloud infrastructure, ensuring a robust and consistent deployment pipeline.
Drive innovation by prototyping and developing cloud-native proof of concept (POC) solutions tailored to the dynamic needs of applications, fostering an environment of continual growth and advancement.
Champion the implementation of advanced monitoring infrastructure development, empowering the team with real-time insights and ensuring the highest levels of system reliability and performance.
Act as a pivotal member of the team, providing dedicated on-call support for production operations, ensuring the uninterrupted delivery of critical services and swift resolution of any operational issues.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with a minimum of 6+ years of experience in Software Reliability Engineering/Systems Engineering/DevOps role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong knowledge of Linux systems, with proficiency in Shell scripting and internals, with a preference for Ubuntu.
Experience in creating software to automate production systems with Python, and familiarity with other languages.
Strong working knowledge of AWS Cloud infrastructure, including EC2, S3, API Gateway, RDS, VPC peering, Route53, S3, and Autoscaling.
Extensive experience with container technology, including Kubernetes, AWS EKS, ECS, Fargate, Helm Charts, and Docker, along with provisioning infrastructure through IAC, preferably Terraform, and cloud automation principles.
Experience with Linux package management tools eg: rpm and deb.
Exposure to Security technologies related to perimeter security, web application scanning,
firewall systems and cloud security & governance.
Familiarity with NoSQL technologies eg: Redis, Dynamodb

As a Senior DevOps Software Engineer you will actively interface with software developers, product managers, test engineers and administrators on projects to design and develop the build, release, and deploy toolchain for DevOps while providing on-call support. You should be able to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively, sometimes under pressure. Responsibilities include capacity planning, high availability engineering, performance tuning, and automation/tools development.
We are seeking a candidate with a robust background in managing infrastructure through multiple product releases, showcasing a deep-seated passion for ensuring reliability and security at every stage. Your proven expertise in this area will be pivotal in maintaining the integrity and performance of our systems as we continue to innovate and evolve.
