      What you will be doing

      Albertsons Companies is looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Supply Chain Devops Engineering team. This individual will work on technologies like Kubernetes (AKS, GKE), APIM, Appgateway, Data Factory, Data Bricks, Google Dataflow, Composer, etc. In this role, you will plan, design, implement as well as support Cloud Infrastructure for critical Supply Chain applications using DevOps methodologies like CI/CD, automation, continuous testing, and monitoring. Key to this position is critical thinking, technology awareness, Market research, Open source mindset and communication to influence Technology direction with development teams.

      The position will be based in Plano, Texas.

      Main responsibilities

      • Develop, execute, deliver, and maintain CI/CD pipeline, tools, systems, and operations on Cloud Infrastructure for Supply Chain portfolio.
      • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex systems and integrations that have a significant impact at scale.
      • Be ultimately accountable for the performance, capacity, and high availability of the cloud infrastructure for Supply Chain Portfolio.
      • Identify sources of manual work related to onboarding new projects from inception to CI/CD pipeline and strive to automate as much as possible.
      • Reduce metrics around standing up dynamic development environments ranging from a micro-service to a complete stack.
      • Lead problem resolution and coordination activities; Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack - hardware, software, application, integration tools and network.
      • Facilitate knowledge sharing by creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation & diagrams.
      • Strong team player with a high degree of self-motivation and the ability to learn new systems and tools to meet the project requirements.

      What we are searching for

      • BS degree in computer science or related engineering field
      • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform, including infrastructure, storage, integration systems and data management.
      • 5+ years of experience with CI/CD tools that includes Github Actions, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform
      • 3+ years of experience in general programming/scripting (Python, Shell, Java) and automation frameworks such as Ansible, terraform to manage administration, monitoring and developing custom plug-ins and workflows.
      • Experience with broader Integration and management of DevOps ecosystem that includes Docker, Kubernetes, Istio and related deployment/orchestration tools (such as Helm, Github Actions, Artifactory)
      • Strong knowledge in integration tools such as Kafka, MQ, Datastage
      • Deep troubleshooting skills that involve analysis of logs, traffic trace, configuration data, automation tools to resolve issues until end-to-end systems are functioning.
      • Experience deploying to and orchestrating containers in production environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
      • Experience with restful services, service-oriented architecture, distributed systems, cloud system (Azure & Google Cloud) and API Management.
      • Knowledgeable about security, networking, and RDBMS/Database technologies (Azure SQL, MySQL, Big Query).
      • Experience in designing/implementing large scale, distributed systems in production class software on public cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP and Cloud based SaaS solutions.
      • Ability to work in Agile environment.
