- Manage a clinical caseload (inpatients and outpatients) in the Cystic Fibrosis service.
- Develop evidence-based practice in the nutritional care of patients with cystic fibrosis and monitor compliance to best practice. Also lead competency development in the nutritional care of patients with cystic fibrosis.
- Assist with the co-ordination of clinical dietitian students and develop/lead education programs for dietitians and dietitian assistants in Cystic Fibrosis.
- Assist with the co-ordination of the clinical supervision of the Clinical Dietitians working in Cystic Fibrosis.
- Assist the Head of Cystic Fibrosis Services and the Department Head of Dietetics and Nutrition in the planning, implementing, evaluating, and reporting on dietetics services as directed/as required in the Cystic Fibrosis service.
- Lead, initiate and manage quality improvement/NSQHS and research projects in the nutritional care of cystic fibrosis.
- Complete all the duties below and duties listed in the position description for dietitian levels 1, 2, and 3.
- When required, the dietitian will be rostered for overtime duties or weekend and public holidays.
- Demonstrated extensive post graduate clinical dietetics experience and a broad generalist knowledge of clinical nutrition.
- Demonstrated evidence of providing advice to managers on clinical service development including implementation/procedure development, evaluation, and redesign.
- Demonstrated experience in the clinical supervision of staff/students and evidence of contribution to education activities.
- Well-developed communication, coaching and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work as an effective team member in a busy environment.
- Excellent time management and organisation skills. Ability to prioritise workload and work independently and in a team.
- Able to display good computer skills and experience with meal/diet ordering systems such as Cbord and Cerner, virtual programs such as MS Teams, SharePoint and experiences with telehealth and electronic medical records.
- Experience in designing, implementing, leading, developing and evaluating research/quality improvement projects.
Manage cystic fibrosis nutrition care for patients, lead education, supervise dietitians, and manage quality improvement and research projects .

Remuneration: $117,544 - $120,393 per annum
