      About the role

      As the Senior Digital Category Manager - Fresh, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end execution of the Fresh portfolio strategy across Coles Digital channels.

      You will

      • Lead cross functional execution of customer missions and destination areas with support of CM
      • Deliver on sales & profit for the CFC’s. This includes working collaboratively with internal stakeholders
      • Building strategic supplier partnerships to deliver innovation, availability and value to our customers
      • Support the Head of Digital Merchandise by reviewing and adjusting the Digital Merchandise portfolio plan against strategic pillars, consolidating and analysing annual strategic plans and quarterly trade, promo & pricing plans.
      • Lead and coach Digital CM/ACM team

      You have

      • Experience in managing product categories at a senior level, including strategy development, market analysis, and supplier relations.
      • Proven track record in overseeing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring quality and performance standards.
      • Skilled in creating and implementing strategic plans that drive business growth and achieve organizational objectives.
      • Experience in leading and developing teams, including performance management, coaching, and fostering a positive work environment
      • Ability to effectively negotiate terms and resolve conflicts to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
      • Skill in persuading and shaping opinions to drive desired actions and decisions
      • Understanding of business principles and financial metrics to make informed decisions and drive success
      • Capability to develop long-term plans and strategies based on market trends and organizational goals
      • Proficiency in managing relationships with stakeholders to meet their needs and expectations
      • Ability to identify issues, analyze options, and implement effective solutions
