- Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET/C# APIs and microservices for digital payments and financial applications.
- Integrate third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe, Adyen, Fiserv) into our core platform.
- Utilize Azure services such as App Insights, Service Bus, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure high availability and observability.
- Partner closely with architects and product owners to design systems aligned with domain-driven design principles and event-based architectures.
- Collaborate in Agile teams, actively participating in stand-ups, grooming, planning, and retrospectives.
- Write clean, maintainable code following SOLID principles and best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and perform code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to engineering standards.
- Stay current with technology trends and recommend enhancements to improve system performance and developer experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with recent hands-on expertise in .NET Core/C#.
- Strong experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Deep understanding of Azure services, including Service Bus, App Insights, and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Proven experience integrating third-party payment providers (Stripe, Adyen, Fiserv, or similar).
- Solid understanding of application security, resilience, and scalability.
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture and domain-driven design is a plus.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum teams using Jira or Azure Boards.

Title: Senior Digital Payments Software Engineer
Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid Tuesdays & Thursdays)
Duration: 6 Month Contract to Hire
Compensation: $60 - $70/hr.
