- Account Management for existing and new Foundational Customers to deliver the annual sale plan (volume and variable margin targets).
- Work cross-functionally to drive internal improvements in how Dow business unit or market focus area serves Foundational customers in Region.
- Assess, triage, cultivate and close new leads as necessary, including establishing price/volume agreements and updating those in internal systems.
- Nurture Foundational customers to support growth into Priority Customer Distinction.
- Gather high-level market intelligence and customer insights and share those with internal Dow decision makers and stakeholders.
- Use CRM, DSR, CMT, OMP and Smart Pricing at “expert” level. Utilizes CRM to document reports of call and document all selling opportunities.
- Educate and position customers to use digital channels and act as a Digital Ambassador for Dow.com and other digital enhancements.
- Drive adherence to Service Offering Framework (SOF).
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience.
- For U.S. Applicants: A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
- Experience in specialty and commodity businesses across a wide range of market relevant to Consumer Solutions, such as Automotive, Building, Industrial Processing, Personal Care, Consumer & Electronics.
- Previous experience in Sales, Product or a customer facing position.
- Business Acumen: Candidate should possess a strong bias for action, solid business acumen and the ability to work cross functionally with various stakeholders.
- Sales Analytics Tools: Proficiency in CRM, DSR, OMP, SmartPrice & Microsoft Office.
- Communication: Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Multitasking: Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Cold Calling: Excellent phone and cold-calling skills.
- Personal Initiative: Strong initiative, ownership, accountability, passion and proactive working attitude.
- Negotiation: Strong listening, sales and negotiation skills.

About you and this role
Dow Consumer Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Digital Sales Specialist supporting North America. This role can be located in either Midland, MI, USA or Mexico City, Mexico.
The ideal candidate should be energetic, collaborative, growth-focused and have a high bias for action. You will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to defend and grow existing Foundational customers as well as hunt for new business across the entire DCS product portfolio. You must have the ability to establish trust, credibility and strong relationships with customers and across functions within Dow and should demonstrate a solutions-oriented mindset. You will also be tasked with educating and positioning customers to utilize digital channels, such as Dow.com, and will be heavily involved with the Lead and Opportunity management process.
