      Who are we hiring? The Director FP&A and Reporting is responsible for providing the Financial Planning & Analysis and Consolidation support for Sphere. The role includes consolidations of budgets, forecasts, and monthly reporting. The role reports to the Senior Director of Finance and also works closely and often directly with the SVP Finance and CFO of MSG Sphere on financial project management, strategic planning, day-to-day operational finance support, financial analysis, and ad hoc requests. The role is responsible for all areas of Budgets, Forecast, and Long-Term plans in addition to all other assignments of the Financial Planning Group. This will include the development of financial and operations information from the various MSG Sphere business divisions on a consolidated basis for, provide strategic and financial data and analysis of MSG Sphere's operations, and will partner regularly with internal Treasury and Investor Relations teams to assist in all treasury and investor relations requests. What will you do? Prepare and issue monthly reports to management, recapping the financial performance & key metrics versus budget and forecast Manage FP&A functions including the Annual Budget, Long-Term Plan, and monthly Forecast process Create executive level materials that provides insightful financial analysis, meaningful and accurate forecasts, clear explanations of business results, and guidance on financial consequences of strategic decisions while maintaining a focus on savings Work closely with the financial representatives of MSG Sphere's operating units including Sphere Revenue FP&A leads in planning, executing, compiling and analyzing the company's periodic results, outlooks, forecasts, annual strategic plan and budget and long-term plans. Present results to Finance SVPs, CFO and Treasury and Investor Relations teams. Consolidate total company and provide presentations and reporting analysis for Financial Planning Group, including Board of Directors meetings, investor calls, annual incentive plan calculations, earnings releases, periodic P&L analyses, Treasury financing analyses Create monthly forecast financial reporting package for use by CFO, SVP Investor Relations and SVP Treasury, and business leaders as well as to provide increased focus on analysis of our operating businesses Assist with the preparation of all quarterly and year end schedules relative to the Financial Reporting area, external auditors and Internal Audit. Collaborate with Accounting group to ensure accurate monthly financial close processes. Reconcile Oracle financial data with independent cost tracking model to ensure costs are captured and accruals are correctly booked. Support operational team regarding MSG’s financial policies and best practices. Review purchase orders and requisitions as needed Prepare and present ad hoc analyses of new business initiatives Special projects as assigned What do you need to succeed? 7+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree required (in Finance/Accounting preferred) Advanced analytical and financial skills are required. Revenue FP&A experience a plus Experience in monthly analysis reporting and monthly closes. Must have strong Excel and Power Point skills, with experience in Oracle EPBCS/Hyperion, Smartview, Concur and Coupa applications BS, BA or related degree in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience Strong financial modeling skills in Excel and in depth understanding of financial systems Why is MSG for me?
