      • Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Education Design Officer to join the Education team in the Faculty of Science

      • Casual opportunity starting ASAP on an initial 5 month contract

      • HEO6 Step 1 $65.61 per hour excluding Superannuation

      About the opportunity

      The Senior Education Design Officer will work with project leads to support the design and delivery of important faculty projects such as the Early Feedback Task and Casual Academic Training Program. The incumbent will collaborate with school education teams and academic staff to ensure compliance with project requirements within required timelines, resulting in a positive learning experience for our students.

      Your key responsibilities will be to:

      • provide direct administrative support to project leads

      • communicate with and follow up with unit coordinators and school education teams to facilitate smooth processes throughout the delivery of projects

      • monitor adherence and adoption of processes

      • collect, collate and analyse data at the various touch points

      • look for ways to improve efficiency and scalability for future iterations

      About you

      • competency in the use University tools such as Canvas, SEAMS, PowerBI, Airtable, Microsoft 365

      • clear verbal and written communication skills

      • ability to multi-task and think outside the box

      • understanding of policy will be highly regarded

      • ability to multi-task and cope with competing deadlines

      • strong problem solving skills.

      Australian Temporary Residents currently employed at the University of Sydney may be considered for a fixed term contract for the length of their visa, depending on the requirements of the hiring area and the position.
