- Design low- and medium-voltage systems for industrial facilities (e.g., pump stations, water treatment plants).
- Perform load calculations and equipment sizing using ETAP or EasyPower.
- Develop electrical models and perform studies (e.g., power flow, arc flash, harmonics).
- Prepare detailed design drawings and documentation (e.g., single-line diagrams, schematics, layouts).
- Select and specify electrical equipment and protection systems.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and support construction and commissioning.
- Lead internal reviews, ensure QA/QC, and support proposals and client engagement.
- Mentor junior engineers and support project delivery.
- 10+ years of Electrical design experience in the municipal sector, with complimentary and related Instrumentation & Controls design experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering.
- Current P.Eng. in Canada.
- Proficiency in electrical design standards (CEC, IEEE, NFPA, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of power systems, instrumentation and controls, and communication protocols.
- Proven project delivery, client service, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and clean abstract.

Senior Electrical Engineer for our Municipal Water & Wastewater team in Edmonton. In this role, you’ll lead electrical design on projects, mentor junior staff, and contribute to business development.
