What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and produce robust hardware solutions to meet customer requirements
- Perform circuit and CCA design and analysis
- Conduct technical trade studies and analog/digital/mixed signal interface design
- Reverse engineer legacy designs and evaluate technology insertion/upgrades
- Conduct laboratory tests and troubleshooting
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering and 8+ years of experience
- Demonstrated experience in product development and support of electronic equipment
- Solid knowledge of digital/analog/mixed signal electronics and interface/communication standards
- Experience in the design, test, troubleshooting, and manufacture of multi-layer electronic circuit card assemblies
- Strong laboratory experience with instrumentation, equipment, and processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Motivated self-starter and problem solver
- Strong computer skills in basic MS Office and technical programs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Design experience with embedded processors, microcontrollers, and FPGAs
- Understanding of DFx concepts
- Experience with avionics systems
- Knowledge of HW development processes and practices
- Experience working with SW teams and mechanical engineers
- Current experience with Cadence, Altium, or Mentor Graphics EDA tools
- Life cycle engineering support experience
