You will collaborate with talented professionals working in the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) space on iconic projects to drive future ready outcomes that will benefit clients and communities. What you’ll do: * Lead ITS and Lighting design teams for major infrastructure projects. * Deliver ITS engineering solutions from concept through to construction. * Oversee electrical and communications engineering for lighting, signals, and roadside infrastructure. * Use tools like AutoCAD, AGI32, PowerCAD, and more to bring your designs to life. * Engineer network and communication systems for major transport projects. * Champion quality assurance, design verification, and technical excellence. * Drive client engagement, business development, and bid preparation. * Opportunities to consult on emerging technologies like electric vehicle infrastructure and connected and automated vehicles. This role can be based in WSP in Australia's Brisbane, Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast offices. About You You have a demonstrated background as an Electrical Engineer with experience working on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and lighting projects. You enjoy engaging with internal and external stakeholders to drive strategic project outcomes an influence how our cities move. In addition, you will bring the following skills and attributes: * At least 5 years’ experience in ITS, signals, lighting, or transport technology. * RPEQ/Chartered status in Electrical Engineering (or working towards it). * Proven experience in engineering design and consulting services. * Expertise in AutoCAD, AGI32, PowerCAD, and other design tools. * Strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. * A collaborative mindset and passion for mentoring junior engineers.
