What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and develop manufacturing/converting assets and supporting processes to achieve unit objectives
- Support safety initiatives and maintain compliance with safety rules and regulations
- Lead projects/tasks to meet unit objectives while adhering to corporate policies
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure clarity and responsiveness
- Improve process capability to reduce defects and variability in production
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology and 10+ years of experience in technical or operational assignments
- Experience with manufacturing control systems, including PLCs, variable speed motor drives, and HMI systems
- Demonstrated competency in engineering/scientific analysis systems and tools
- Strong commitment to safety and quality in engineering practices
- Ability to assist in the development of others and contribute to a diverse team environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Continuing self-development and experience in a variety of engineering assignments
- Lean Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement experience
- Demonstrated personal sensitivity and competency in design and/or use of engineering/scientific analysis systems/tools
