- Direct communication with the service and construction organization through their respective wind farm management
- Point of contact for electrical compliance for offshore service and construction activities mainly in Germany as well as other countries in Northern and Central Europe (NCE), as determined by the direct line management
- Ensuring Vestas is legally compliant with German laws and regulations, standards, and best practices
- Ensuring testing and periodic inspection of the electrical equipment and systems in accordance with DGUV V3
- Oversee and direct Elektrofachkraft (EfK) by ensuring that training provided to the staff who are responsible for the commissioning and maintenance is adequate and appropriate which complies with the local laws and regulations
- Ensuring communication of electrical hazards, incidents, or occurrences within Vestas and to external relevant authorities as required
- Supporting technical and safety training department in development or reviewing of the training material, ensuring compliance and provide ad-hoc SSoW related support and assistance to the direct line management
- University degree and qualifications in the field of electrical engineering or similar subject
- Several years of experience within the energy sector, ideally with a distribution system operator or a wind farm developer in a similar role. Candidates with less experience are welcomed to apply but the seniority of the role will be dependent on the level of experience and knowledge
- Profound know-how of the relevant norms and guidelines, such as Arbeitsschutzgesetz (ArbSchG), Ordnungswidrigkeitengesetz (OwiG), Deutsche Gesetzliche Unfallversicherung (DGUV), DIN VDE 1000-10, DIN VDE 0105-100, EN 50110 etc.
- Profound operational experiences in the field of installation, servicing, and maintenance of the electrical systems
- Professional experience as a vEFK according to VDE 1000-10 as well as in the operation of electro-technical systems is desirable
- We prefer German and English language skills
- Relevant previous Wind industry technical & operational experience is desirable
- Comprehensive knowledge of low voltage and high voltage and relevant policy knowledge in electrical networks
- Good knowledge and understanding of European electrical regulations and standards
- Structured, well-organized person with good prioritization and communication skills
- Ability and fitness to visit offshore sites as well as working at height

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Electrical Safety Officer (f/m/d). The Electrical Safety Officer will provide support to the offshore projects in Germany related to the Safe System of Work (SSoW). This person will be technically responsible for the electro-technical operation of the offshore wind farms in Germany as the responsible verantwortliche Elektrofachkraft (vEfK), according to Arbeitsschutzgesetz (ArbSchG), Ordnungswidrigkeitengesetz (OwiG), Deutsche Gesetzliche Unfallversicherung (DGUV), DIN VDE 1000-10 etc.
