      Job Location

      • UK – Oxfordshire – Banbury (Hybrid).

      • Occasional travel to Fisker HQ in Los Angeles, CA and other locations (e.g., supplier offices) may be necessary.

      General Role Overview

Fisker Magic Works (FMW) is a UK based department of Fisker Inc. It is a center of excellence for low-volume product development and its brief is to create and deliver premium, niche, and specialty vehicle programs in industry-leading timescales to expand the company’s product range and build brand image. The department draws on technical and commercial expertise within Fisker HQ, along with low-volume specialist Engineering Service Providers (ESP’s), both local and global.

Reporting to the UK-based Engineering Director, this position will play a key role in the delivery of production and prototype Chassis Systems. Specifically, it will lead the planning, organization, and delivery of multiple suppliers and components to enable smooth and efficient Body Structure builds to support vehicle program timing. Relationship building and liaison with HQ-based design, engineering, and commercial teams will be critical to success, as will strong technical management of component and system suppliers.

This role requires a high level of technical and organizational skills. A successful candidate needs to thrive in a pressurized environment and be confident in applying both experienced judgement and data driven analysis to optimize targets and plans, identify and mitigate risks, manage resources, and solve problems quickly and effectively. The small, lean nature of FMW demands a candidate who is comfortable with being hands-on in the detail, as well as able to operate and interact strategically across business boundaries and time zones.

Hybrid working is offered with a requirement to attend the UK office in Banbury, Oxfordshire on an “as required” basis.

Occasional travel to Fisker HQ in Los Angeles, CA and other locations (e.g., supplier offices) may be necessary.
