      Job Title - Functional Architect – Corporate Bank CTO

      Location - Pune

      Role Description

      The Corporate Bank Chief Technology Office (CB CTO) is an enabler of both strategic and operational IT objectives. The team is comprised of multiple pillars, with each pillar focused on one or more specific interests of technology, data and innovation including Strategy & Architecture, Cloud and Infrastructure, IT Asset Management and Engineering. The team partners with multiple stakeholders across the Organisation and acts as a trusted agent in supporting Business and Technology change across each Corporate Bank Product line.

      You will be part of the Strategy and Architecture pillar, supporting the delivery and management of information and artefacts published by our community of IT architects. You will support the definition, guidance and execution of architecture processes, including architecture development, governance and data management, undertaken by our architects in the performance of their day-to-day duties. There is a focus on enhancing our Architecture Framework and minimum standards to support the wider Strategy and Architecture objectives - the candidate will be required to work with central IT teams and group-wide functions to complete mandatory processes, requests and analysis, as well as collate and provide feedback on enhancements required by the Corporate Bank to those processes.

      Your key responsibilities

      • Acting as the central point of contact for Strategy and Architecture processes with central and group functions, with a focus on communicating and coordinating delivery by the CB community of architects, including annual updates to the TDI Strategy and Roadmap.
      • Management and tracking of foundational artefacts and datasets that comprise the current and target state architecture for each Corporate Bank Product line, partnering with our Domain Architects to ensure the minimum set of information exists to articulate our plans.
      • Supporting architecture reviews, assessments and associated analysis centered around our application portfolio and current state alignment with business capabilities and services.
      • Operating “Architecture Connect” sessions including the necessary preparation of materials, meetings, guest speakers and other content – resultant contribution to the CTO Strategy and Architecture channels and associated content, including articles, analysis and other guiding material.

      Your skills and experience

      • Good understanding of Architecture as a practice and awareness of the different specialisms including Business, Data and Technology Architecture
      • Strong data management skills and experience with the creation or management of diagrams and models, data catalogues, matrices and equivalent artefacts
      • Strong communication skills and experience in building relationships and matrix networks to support the management of process and associated data over a portfolio of business domains
      • Good analytical and MI capabilities, with a good approach to solving problems but also an ability to clearly and succinctly present or report output and recommendations back to senior management
