      Currently, we are looking for a Senior Evaluator, Plant Operations to join our team

      The Senior Evaluator in Plant Operations leads monitoring, evaluation and assistance activities for nuclear power stations in their assigned functional area, interacting with utility personnel, INPO/WANO management, and industry professional groups.

      Essential Functions

      • Act as lead Operations evaluator on plant evaluations, WANO peer reviews, and assistance visits as described in the Evaluation Manual
      • Identify and analyze problems with plant operations
      • Assess plant performance in the operator fundamentals and operational focus areas
      • Effectively communicate orally and in writing with all levels of the utility personnel, including operations management
      • Lead the facilitation of plant operations working meetings
      • Lead in evaluation, assistance and managing of plant operations initiatives
      • Performs other duties as assigned

      • Advanced knowledge of Operations best practices
      • Advanced knowledge in the operating experience and industry trends in Operations
      • Advanced knowledge of the U.S. nuclear utility industry
      • Advanced knowledge of the Evaluation process and nuclear plants
      • Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office
      • Knowledge of the INPO Guidelines documents

      Education, Licenses, and Certifications

      Education

      Required

      • High School Diploma or GED
      • Valid Drivers’ License
      • SRO Certification

      Preferred

      • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, physical science or other related area
      • Five years of INPO/WANO evaluation experience
      • Navy nuclear training
      • Previous SRO License

      Experience

      Required

      • Three years nuclear plant, design engineering, system engineering, or similar experience
      • Three years of supervisory experience
      • Two years operations shift manager experience

      Preferred

      • Five years nuclear plant, design engineering, system engineering, or similar experience
      • Five years of supervisory experience
      • Superintendent of shift operations or operations manager experience

      Behaviors and Assessments

      • Employment is dependent upon successfully completing a pre-employment background check and drug and alcohol test.
      • This position may require obtaining unescorted access status.
      • This position requires direct or indirect access to certain export-controlled technology, for which INPO may be required to obtain an export license in accordance with applicable U.S. export control laws and regulations.
