      AIG underwriting teams help to find insurance solutions in areas including Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, Multinational Clients, and High Net Worth individuals. We are reimagining how we help customers to manage risk, transforming our operating model, and reshaping our role responsibilities and career pathways.       How you will create an impact

      • Onboard new business opportunities.
      • Handle up to 2 medium-sized Group Captive accounts.
      • Maintain clear and concise underwriting files and perform self-audits for other underwriters.
      • Communicate risk appetite/Captive Solutions Value Proposition to brokers.
      • Work with Associate Underwriter(s) to ensure booking and coding on accounts are completed.
      • Resolve account-related questions from internal peers and/or Clients/ Brokers that are within their scope; or escalate to leadership.
      • Participate in client (internal/external) conference calls.
      • Develop and maintain professional relationships with the Producers and Captive Intermediaries.

      What you’ll need to succeed

      • 5 years of relevant professional experience; Prior insurance experience required.
      • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
      • Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
      • Demonstrated sales, marketing and relationship building experience.
      • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
      • Highly motivated and results-oriented.
      • Ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment, adapting to changing requirements and collaborating with a wide range of colleagues to quickly deliver solutions.
      • Willingness to be flexible, learn on the job, and maintain a can-do-attitude.

      For positions based in New York, the base salary range is $127,000- $159,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
