- Monday to Friday: 8 am to 5 pm (with 1 hour lunch break)
- San Jose, CA 95113 (Required)
- In person (NO REMOTE OPTIONS)
- The ideal candidate will have experience working in a busy, fast-paced family law firm environment.
- Essential responsibilities include settling cases, working with clients on discovery and related matters, preparing memorandums, conducting legal research, court appearances, and more.
- The attorney will perform substantive legal work involving analysis, drafting, negotiating, and consulting.
- Resolve routine to complex family law legal matters with minimal supervision, analyze and propose solutions for unique problems.
- Handle legal documents, organize and review materials, monitor case schedules and deadlines.
- Manage legal files and records, coordinate discovery, investigation, and legal proceedings.
- Support legal tasks and special projects as needed.
- At least 5 years of experience in family law
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, respond to urgency, solve problems, meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills, analytical and organizational abilities
- J.D. and licensed in CA (CA Bar Admission)
- A good sense of humor and passion for the work are appreciated
