      Exemption Status: Exempt

      Salary Range: $81,300.00 - $92,200.00

      *As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices

      Position Summary

      Independently oversees all administrative & programmatic aspects of multiple and/or complex departmental fellowship programs.

      Job Responsibilities

      • Manages the administrative & programmatic functions of the department’s fellowship program(s), including the recruitment of applicants, orientation, credentialing, documentation, and evaluation.
      • Manages the administrative functions of Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs. Gathers and facilitates information for continued accreditation. Works with internal and external marketing entities to promote CME activities.
      • Maintains fellowship program compliance. Tracks compliance and generates reports on duty hours, online courses, and other mandates. Monitors and secures completion of evaluations. Corresponds directly with regulatory agencies.
      • Facilitates and participates in site visits and audits. Ensures readiness and compliance. Addresses and resolves issues uncovered during visit/audit.
      • Prepares, maintains, and/or distributes rotation and on-call schedules for fellows, attendings, medical residents, and/or students as needed.
      • Oversees the collection of annual credentialing and re-credentialing materials for all fellows.
      • Maintains the fellowship portion of the department’s website, if applicable.
      • May oversee junior coordinators and administrative staff.

      Education

      • Bachelor's Degree

    Experience

    Approximately 4+ years of GME or related experience in an academic/medical environment.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite and database applications.
    • Advanced time management and organizational skills.
    • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills.
    • Ability to independently coordinate programmatic content, and accomplish deliverables.
    • Demonstrated ability to work both independently, and collaboratively, with a diverse population of staff.
