About us
Dyson is growing fast and our ambition is huge – more categories, more locations, and more people. Pioneering technology takes more than just inventive engineers. At Dyson, we take a problem-solving approach to everything we do. Our Finance team manages and balances complex budgets across our global business. Multiple regions, multiple categories and covering all aspects of the finance cycle.
We prioritise our campus culture and do not offer a regular hybrid working setup to maintain Dyson's spirit of collaboration, creativity, and inventiveness in our dynamic workspaces.
About the role
As our Senior Finance Analyst, you will be ensuring we invest our new product development resources in projects that will deliver an attractive return on investment. Collaborating with a global stakeholder group, you will be creating, developing, and maintaining financial business cases for multiple projects with relevant senior leaders.
Working closely with RDD, Design Managers, Group Marketing, and the Product Costing team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the New Venture 5-year plan across multiple categories. You will be forecasting future volumes and P&L based on the latest product range plans and business case development. You will be supporting key governance processes on appropriate projects within the New Ventures plan, working with the Project Team to capture insights, drive business decisions, and update business cases.
You will be raising challenges with Finance Leadership so they can escalate with project members to ensure data inputs are robust and validated. When inputs provide conflicting outputs, you will be identifying recommendations. You will be providing regular reporting and analysis to required stakeholders, maintaining product profitability data, and analyzing future product range profitability.
