WHAT TO EXPECT

Working within the Classic finance department gives a unique business perspective. The role is split between financial analysis & business partnering.

The purpose of this role is to act as a trusted advisor to the Jaguar Programme team, as well as the Operations and Engineering departments within JLR Classic. You will support month end activities, run performance packs and business partner the operational teams of Operations and Engineering. You will also be responsible for working with the Jaguar programme team to deliver challenging targets and strategic objectives through proactive business partnering.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Support the Finance Manager to achieve short and long term strategic objectives by delivering plans and initiatives through Finance Business Partnering
• Prepare and present financial information such as forecasts, budgets and business plans to ensure strategic objectives are met using business partnering knowledge and monthly reviews to hold business partners accountable.
• Complete month end activities, prepare monthly reporting packs and complete value add commentary for business partnered areas.
• Undertake detailed scenario planning and financial management to achieve targets for projects under area of responsibility.
• Cross functional working with the wider Classic community to deliver finance strategies / initiatives
• Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested
