The Amazon Advertising Finance team seeks a curious, analytical and driven Senior Financial Analyst to be a key business partner to the US Large Customer Sales team for this rapidly growing business.
The successful candidate will own end-to-end business support for Large Customer Sales and working across all verticals. This individual will be responsible for leading the business reviews including measuring and driving focus on our key input metrics and health of the business. The successful candidate will have the ability to tackle multiple projects and efficiently execute deliverables. The right individual will have strong communication skills and solid business acumen capable of driving results and improving processes. The successful candidate must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically. Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve and prioritize.
Key job responsibilities
- Support revenue planning for forecasts and annual planning
- Builds, iterates, and automates financial reports, metrics, and scorecards to support short and long-term planning
- Owns weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting of Financial performance at global, regional, and country levels
- Ad hoc business support
- Close partnership with customer facing sales teams, sales operations, and finance BI resources to support insight generation and influence decision making- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis
- Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
