What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide high-level financial support, including budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis for AMC Psychiatry
- Collaborate with division leadership to align financial plans with operational priorities
- Manage all accounting tasks as part of the monthly accounting close
- Analyze financial performance and prepare productivity dashboards for leadership
- Partner with Finance Manager on strategic analyses and lead special projects to improve financial processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare or complex organizational finance environment
- Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with enterprise financial systems
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Mass General Brigham tools (Workday, Insight, StrataJazz) preferred
- Excellent communication skills to convey financial information to non-financial audiences
- High level of professionalism and customer service orientation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and proactive in identifying areas for improvement
