- Build and maintain financial models (P&L & CF) to assess deal economics (profitability, payback, IRR, NPV, etc)
- Perform financial analysis of deals- scenarios, sensitivities, pricing curves, comparatives
- Work closely with Commercial & Strategy teams to ensure deal proposals are financially sound, competitive, and align with internal profitability goals.
- Present financials and analysis during weekly deal review meetings with CFS senior leadership team including Group President.
- Review proposals and customer contracts for financial concurrence and to ensure deal value is captured.
- Work with large volume of data (pricing data, cost data, etc) to develop insights for deal reviews.
- Work with cross functional teams (Finance, Delivery, Development, Customer Care, Technology) to continuously refine deal models and estimation process in order to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Work closely with internal finance teams (FP&A, reporting) to support and share key financial data to drive the CFS annual budget and strategic planning cycle.
- Conduct monthly analyses of income statement variances comparing actuals to forecast, budget and the prior year
- Participate in the annual budget process and ad hoc analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- Professional title completed or in the process of being completed (CPA, CFA)
- 5+ years of experience in either: financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, financial business analysis or deals, financial reporting, pricing strategy.
- Comfortable working with financial models and navigating Excel to perform various financial analysis.
- Strong business partnering skills and ability to influence decision making using data driven insights and analysis.
- Self-starter and ability to demonstrate high level of initiative and autonomy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally and effectively communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders, and strong presentation skills.
- High attention to detail, with a strong understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy.
- Experience in software & technology industry (preferred, but not required)
- Bilingual (French and English). English is required as the role will predominately work with various cross functional teams based in USA.
