Title: Senior Financial Analyst Reporting to: Senior Manager, Finance Location: Edmonton, Alberta This role will begin in-person as part of a co-working space located in downtown Edmonton. We are actively exploring dedicated office space for a future date in the same area. Inspirato is seeking a dynamic, highly analytical, and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This is a high-impact role designed for a strategic thinker who excels at turning complex data into actionable insights and enjoys partnering cross-functionally to drive results. The FP&A team plays a critical role in shaping strategic decisions by providing timely, accurate, and meaningful insights across all functions. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you’ll support forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis while taking the lead on high-visibility financial modeling and strategic projects. Responsibilities: - Financial Modeling & Analysis: Build and maintain short- and long-term financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and scenario analysis
- Business Performance Analysis: Analyze trends across revenue, costs, and KPIs to identify opportunities, risks, and operational efficiencies
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly financial packages for executive leadership and the board, including variance analyses and key business commentary
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with department leaders to build budgets, monitor performance, evaluate initiatives, and guide financial decision-making
- Strategic Projects: Support strategic initiatives such as pricing optimization, new product analysis, and business case development
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to FP&A processes, tools, and reporting infrastructure
Requirements include: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (experience in hospitality or public company FP&A a plus)
- 3–5 years of relevant financial experience
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency in business intelligence tools and financial systems a plus
- Strong understanding of financial statements, GAAP concepts, and corporate financial metrics
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple deadlines
Compensation – $70,000-$84,000 CAD Base Salary We believe in building a compensation structure that reflects the comparable market pay rate for positions at companies similar in size, revenue generation and geographic location; in addition to individual factors including seniority, performance-based merit, education/training, and experience related to scope of responsibilities. Paid Time Off: Accrues each pay period, totaling 15 days annually, plus nine paid holidays. FAM Trip: After one year of employment, eligible for one three-to-four-night stay per calendar year in an Inspirato property, subject to availability and program terms.
