      Education:

      BA/BS Degree in Finance/Marketing/Accounting

      Skills & Experience

      Min 3yrs of Business Planning & Managerial Accounting experience in the area of manufacturing industry . The experience in the area of semi-conductor industries is plus.

      Product marketing experience (Pricing, Marketing Research & Analysis, Customer/OEM account mgmt.) is plus. Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing environment

      Advanced skills of Microsoft Office Software, especially Excel and Power Point and also experience of SAP, SAP-BW, SAC and Hyperion are plus.

      Ability to solve problems and manage projects across multiple areas of expertise

      Able to work in a fast paced environment and comply with tight deadlines.

      Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese are plus

      Duties & Responsibilities

      Supervise Business Planning team member and assist Manager

      Supervise and Provide training to Business Planning team members and assist Manager to execute on the scope of the Department responsibility.

      Monthly Profit Analysis in current operation

      Perform monthly reporting activities; generation, management, aggregation, analysis and reporting of sales, cost, CAPEX and other data using SAP, Hyperion, BPC (Global Managerial Accounting System of JSR Corporation Group) and others. Also responsible for preparation of input data to JSR Corporation.

      Business Planning and analysis

      Take the lead on annual budget planning, mid-year projection planning and Mid-Term planning which includes schedule management, data validation, consolidation, analysis and report creation to obtain management approval.

      Communicate with business and planning department in JSR Corporation for budget, mid-year projection and Mid-Term planning. Perform profitability analysis by product line, by customer as well as other ad-hoc analysis.

      Improvement of Managerial Accounting Process

      Leading continuous improvement of management accounting processes, including procedure reviews, system upgrades, etc. with multiple departments and outside parties.

      Sales Pricing Strategy

      Provide suggestions to sales team to develop, evaluate and implement pricing strategies and models based upon current and future cost structure and business environment.

      Investment Analysis and implementation control

      Evaluate risk and return-on-investment on new investment as necessary (CAPEX purchase and big project).

      Evaluate various business development and investment alternatives including execution of mergers and acquisition.

      Support of approval process and implementation control of such investment activities.

      Coordination for New Business

      Coordinate various tasks and projects with related departments and outside parties to implement new business activities and/or improve current business activities.

      Take the lead on the insurance renewal process including related companies such as JSR North America Holdings, Inc. and JSR Life Science, LLC.

      Other

      Maintaining the financial planning and performance management system (Hyperion, Essbase, etc.) entails maintaining dimension hierarchies, performing routine maintenance and working as Hyperion administrator to execute certain processes while establishing and maintaining systems and controls to verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data.

      Provide ad-hoc reporting, querying and analysis requests from Corp and INC. Provide user training of Hyperion & BPC.

      Other duties may be assigned.

      Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

      (Salary Range - $100,000/yr to $125,000/yr)
