What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design Water Spray/Sprinkler systems, Fire & Gas Detection systems, and Fire Alarm systems
- Assist in developing plans for overall building safety
- Work with diverse multi-discipline teams
- Report to the Portland, OR, Phoenix, AZ, or Pittsburgh, PA offices
- Travel approximately 15% to client sites

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
- At least 10 years of Fire Protection Engineer experience
- At least 5 years of sprinkler system design experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation and Revit/Revit MEP
- Experience with full project lifeline – conceptual design through services during construction

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Professional Engineering (PE) license
- Master’s Degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
- Experience leading projects and managing resources
- Experience mentoring junior staff
- Design Management experience
