- Using Company data and information ensure regular detailed analysis is undertaken to identify patterns and indicators of fraudulent activity, and timely reports produced for the SIU Management team and business areas as applicable
- Create new strategies and processes to streamline fraud identification and develop/improve current policies/procedures
- Produce high quality written reports and advice for the business, key stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Complete ad-hoc data and information analysis at the request of the SIU Management
- Provide advice and support to business areas and SIU with regards to potential fraud risks
- Submit Suspicious Activity Reports as necessary to the Company MLRO
- Support and coach the Fraud Analysts across multiple locations
- Deputise for Assistant Claims Manager in their absence as and when required
- Receiving and triaging intelligence, received from external parties
- Collating internal intelligence and redistributing in NIM rated models
- Liaising with panel solicitors and equivalent counter parts in the industry
- Experience of using fraud prevention systems and how to analyse and monitor their performance
- Production of high quality data analysis reports
- Experience of interrogation and analysis of significant and complex data sets, to identify trends, patterns and indicators of fraudulent/ irregular activity
- Experience in working in a shared service/operations team and meeting/managing differing expectations of key stakeholders from different business areas
- Strong Motor & Casualty claims fraud experience
- Experience with complex lines of business
- Experience with identifying and handling fraud rings and cross industry operations
- Ability to identify, investigate and provide initial advice on suspected fraudulent claims
- Counter fraud qualification (ACFS or equivalent)– preferred

A great opportunity to join QBE’s award-winning fraud team. As a Senior Fraud Analyst you will be part of a small team of Analysts who receive, review and re-distribute intelligence received by multiple sources as well as develop internal findings. You will work closely with the Senior Adjusters to identify fraud threats and provide advice on suspicious claims to eliminate fraud risk from the business. You will lead by example, providing guidance to the analyst function constantly ensuring the customer is at the focus of our mission.
