Take charge in the development of cutting-edge frontend interfaces within RBC's Innovation and Technology group and Wealth Management.
Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate design concepts into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, adding animations and other micro-interactions to enhance the experience further.
Utilize your expertise in frontend technologies to create responsive and accessible web applications.
Drive innovation by utilizing and exploring new frontend frameworks, tools, and techniques.
Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
Work closely with backend developers to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend systems.
Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices to maintain high-quality code standards.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the bank's internal digital offerings.
Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.
3-4 years experience in HTML5/SASS/CSS and producing pixel-perfect interfaces according to design wireframes.
3-4 years experience in TypeScript and JavaScript with a strong deep understanding of the intricacies of both languages.
2-3 years experience in either React, VueJS or Angular frameworks.
3-4 years experience in using Git or other version control systems.
Bachelor degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
Experience in Agile methodology and the software development lifecycle.
Experience in technology and/or financial services industry.
Backend development experience in Node.JS, Python 3 or C#.
Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses.
