Write clean, functional, and reusable code for both front-end and back-end systems
Collaborate with designers to turn mockups into user interfaces
Optimize web design for mobile responsiveness
Implement new features and fix bugs in existing code
Test and debug their own code developments
Create test data and conduct interfaces and unit tests
Work with the development team to ensure system consistency
Work closely with designers, product teams, and other developers
Demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Understand emerging technologies and best practices
4+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
2+ years of Python experience
2+ years of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development
2 years of User Interface experience
Proficient in implementing back-end functionality using Python
Ability to ensure site compatibility across a range of screen resolutions.
Contribute ideas and experience to new development solutions.
Knowledge of modern technological advancements in web apps and programming languages.
Experience preparing documentation and reports.
Ability to support the project after its completion and integration of updates.
Ability to handle various tasks and responsibilities independently, working on both the client-side (user interface and user experience) and server-side (database, server, and application logic) of a project.
Ability to work on-site at posted location, hybrid is currently available

About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a senior engineer who can build and maintain both the front-end and back-end of websites and applications. They're involved in the entire product development cycle, from design to deployment, and maintenance.
