  Bizzabo is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer in Ukraine to join our global engineering team. This role is primarily focused on backend development using Java and Kotlin, with a secondary emphasis on frontend development using React. We leverage modern server-side frameworks, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies to build scalable, robust integrations with third-party platforms.

  What You’ll Be Doing:

  - **Back-end Development** (80%):

  - Design, build, and maintain scalable back-end systems using Java and Kotlin.

  - Develop and maintain APIs for integration with third-party platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Slack).

  - Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure cloud infrastructure is optimized for performance and scalability.

  - Implement robust error handling, logging, and monitoring solutions for back-end services.

  
  

  - **Front-end Development** (20%):

  - Collaborate with designers and front-end developers to implement UI features using React.

  - Ensure seamless integration of backend APIs with the front-end.

  - Write clean, modular, and reusable frontend code.

  
  

  - Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver solutions that exceed expectations.

  
  

  
  

  What You Have:

  - **Experience**:

  - 5+ years of software development experience with a focus on backend technologies.

  - Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin.

  - Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

  - Solid understanding of database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB).

  - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

  
  

  - **Frontend Skills**:

  - 2+ years of experience with React or similar front-end frameworks.

  - Understanding of modern frontend build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).

  
  

  - **General Skills**:

  - Knowledge of best practices in CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).

  - Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

  
  

  Bonus Points:

  - Familiarity with integrating third-party platforms (e.g., Zapier, Tray.io).

  - Knowledge of event-driven architectures and message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.

  - Experience with modern styling frameworks (e.g., MUI, Tailwind).

  - Background in optimizing and monitoring application performance.

  - Familiarity with Sales and Marketing clouds.
