What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Take on a leadership role in a team of skilled front end developers

- Expand the use of React on the company's websites
- Collaborate with product owners to define scalable technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and problem solve urgent technical issues
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of front end web development experience with expertise in JavaScript (React) and CSS
- 3+ years of back-end development experience with expertise in NodeJS and GraphQL APIs
- 2+ years of experience mentoring other engineers and driving solutions
- Strong UX and design sensibilities
- Experience with building performant, mobile-first, responsive React components
- Technical background with knowledge in engineering principles and design patterns
- Proven ability to write clean, modern, maintainable, and highly-performant code
- Proactive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Positive, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach
- Experience working in an Agile team and using Jira
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal effectiveness
- Self-awareness and a desire for continual improvement

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with enterprise-scale projects and global teams
- Familiarity with common development tools (Gulp, Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc)
- Proficiency in TypeScript
- Familiarity with MobX
- Drupal frontend/theming and content building experience (ideally Drupal 7)
- E-commerce experience
- Background in graphic design or visual arts
