What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide professional expertise in contract administration to ensure compliance with sponsor and organizational regulations
- Review proposals, negotiate, and administer federal and non-federal grants and contracts
- Evaluate organizational compliance with agreements and assist in developing processes and policies
- Communicate regularly with external federal and non-federal funding agencies
- Offer ad-hoc training on grants and contracts administration to program staff
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Public Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience (4 years in healthcare, research, finance, accounting, education, or legal fields)
- Minimum of 5 years of closely related experience
- At least 2 years of experience drafting SOPs and organizational policies for contractual compliance
- Minimum of 2 years interpreting relevant regulatory requirements related to Federal Acquisition Regulation
- Skilled in the use of electronic software applications, especially Microsoft applications (e.g., Excel, Teams, OneDrive)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or MSA, or equivalent education/experience
- CRA issued by SRA, CCRP issued by SOCRA, or CPA issued by the Board of Accountancy upon hire
- 4 years of experience in research, grant, or healthcare administration
