      Description:

      Serve on Holland & Knight's graphic design team, providing creative guidance for the firm's marketing materials. Responsible for maintaining and advancing brand standards across all print and digital communications. This position reports to the Senior Creative Services Manager.

      Key Responsibilities Include :

      • In collaboration with the Creative Services Manager and firm leadership conceptualizes, plans, designs, and produces a wide range of specialized graphic projects.

      • Design original marketing materials, including brochures and infographics.

      • Maintains and enhances graphics standards, ensures their consistent application firm-wide and the integrity of the Firm’s brand in all aspects of work product.

      • Ensures the accurate and timely production of printed materials.

      • Design and develop web-based collateral, including the development of new HTML templates.

      • Review HTML and troubleshoot coding errors.

      • Oversee production of videos for the website, working closely with the Digital Communications Manager.

      • Develop creative concepts for current and future marketing initiatives.

      • Identifies, selects, and coordinates vendors for printing, as appropriate to the project.

      • Review graphic designers’ work to ensure high quality and firm standards.

      • Mentor and provides technical advice and guidance to less experienced graphic design staff on design and technical graphics issues.

      • Handles complex issues and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.

      • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.

      Qualifications:

      • Minimum of 5 years design experience, or equivalent, preferably within a professional services firm or design firm.

      • Demonstrate advanced creative and technical skills.

      • Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere, Acrobat), Word, Excel and PowerPoint software.

      • Advanced web knowledge including HTML, the ability to troubleshoot, and experience with various email and web browsers and CSS.

      • Strong working knowledge of PC computer systems.

      • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

      • Excellent organizational and analytical skills; strong project management and multi-tasking skills.

      • Excellent layout skills; ability to work quickly; low production error rate.

      • Experience dealing with commercial printers and service bureaus, and with preparing documents for print, digital and electronic output.

      • Experience working with design firms.

      • Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate last-minute rush deadlines.

      Minimum education:

      • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field required. Advanced degree a plus.

      This position may be filled in New York, Colorado or California. In accordance with the New York State Pay Transparency Law, New York City Human Rights Law, the Colorado Equal Pay Act, and the California Pay Transparency Law, the pay range for this position in New York State is $63,800 - $114,900/yr, in New York City is $76,600 – $114,900/yr, in Colorado is $67,000 - $100,500/yr, and in California is $73,400 - $119,700/yr. These ranges are specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations. An individual's actual compensation will depend on the individual's qualifications and experience.
