      Are you a creative and passionate Graphic Designer looking to make a meaningful impact? Join our corporate team, where you'll collaborate with sales, account management and leadership to develop marketing materials and communications that attract, inspire, and engage our target audiences. Your work will play a crucial role in driving membership and utilization of our services, helping us to promote a healthier and more active community.

      Performs a wide variety of graphic design assignments for HealthFitness. Collaborates with internal clients and team members to develop marketing materials and communications that attract, inspire, and engage our target audiences. Provide creative rationale to stakeholders, oversee projects from beginning to end, starting from conceptualization to completion and launch/production.

      Key Accountabilities:

      • Create and design materials that will appeal to various audiences (employers, property owner/managers, community leaders, health system leaders, consumers and HF) for a wide variety of outputs such as, social, digital, presentations, campaigns, event fulfillment and more; creation and edits to logos, iconography, typography, infographics, illustrations, and other designs; photo retouching; purchase of external creative assets (stock imagery, video, plug-ins, etc.) as needed; develop and implement new communication solutions to meet the needs of the target audience.
      • Collaborate across the HF marketing team to determine design direction, strategy, and plan. Articulate design thinking with strong rationale. Maintain brand consistency across all projects.
      • Set up files and standardized templates to be scaled and reused (sizes, format, etc.), revisions to existing work, manage release of files for production and oversee pre- and post-production needs; basic production artist skills: versioning, resizing, clipping, etc.
      • Collaborate with internal and external vendors, clients, and creative associates; understand and adhere to internal processes, and streamline them when possible, without compromising quality; follow guidelines for production requirements including proof-reading, image and file storage/naming conventions, and archiving; be a steady enforcer of production standards.
      • Utilize and acquire skills in new technology, stay current with best practices, trends, and industry techniques to share ideas and knowledge with others to ensure creative team is kept to industry standards; take courses to gain and improve skills and capabilities where needed.
      • Other duties as needed/assigned.

      Education and Experience:

      • 5+ years experience corporate design experience.
      • 2-year Associate of Art or Technical degree in design, marketing, or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
      • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office suite and the ability to work in Mac OS platform required.
      • Familiarity with accessibility, UX, HTML, IA design principles.
      • Experience scaling creative concepts across print, web, email, social, advertising and motion graphics.
      • Demonstratable graphic design skills with a compelling portfolio of projects showcasing diverse skills.
      • A strong eye for visual composition.
      • Ability to clearly communicate reasoning behind design choices.
      • Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
      • Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity and multimedia design.
      • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
      • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and coordinate projects across external resources and internal teams.
      • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to interact and collaborate with all levels of associates in the organization.
      • Possess solid production art skills and experience, knowledge of best practices in production, and a willingness/ability to push vendors and partners in holding them accountable to production standards.

      Compensation: $75,000/Year - $85,000/Year. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
