What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Successfully manage all aspects of small to medium-sized projects, including technical direction, financial management, staff management, and client relations
- Design and conduct studies using advanced empirical methods or mixed quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods
- Supervise research staff and ensure projects are conducted with sound analytic methods
- Write research reports, interpret findings, and present to technical and non-technical audiences
- Provide substantial contributions to technical proposal writing and serve as a resource to other staff in methodological or healthcare policy areas
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis
- Demonstrated mastery of applied microeconomics, labor economics, applied econometrics, health policy, and program evaluation
- Experience designing research studies and developing research reports/publications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced understanding of Medicare payment policy
- Experience in research projects focused on health equity
- Demonstrated writing and presentation skills in peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations
- Understanding of Medicare FFS data and payment policies
