Job summary
The Senior HR Advisor will play a vital role in supporting the HR team in delivering comprehensive HR solutions to the organisation. You will collaborate with senior HR, managers, and employees to ensure a positive and productive environment, compliance with HR policies and procedures, and the achievement of strategic business goals.
Main duties of the job
You will be a HR generalist, preferably CIPD qualified, will have robust Employee Relations, experience gained in a high customer service orientated environment (ideally health care, NHS, retail or charity).
The people agenda is seen as high profile and the organisation takes it seriously. The personal skillset for this role is exemplary communication, interpersonal, organisational skills and the ability to inspire confidence and hit the ground running.
This role is offered on a 6 month fixed term basis.
Due to the location of both Hospices, access to your own transport is essential.
This role will be predominantly based at St Barnabas House, however, the team works across different sites and there may be requirement for you to work at Martlets or Chestnut Tree House to meet the needs of the service.

St Barnabas House provides specialist palliative care to adults in the Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield areas through a range of services, including in-patient care and community living well services. Our sister hospice, Chestnut Tree Tree House is a childrens hospice for East and West Sussex and South East Hampshire, providing specialist palliative care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions.
